How to make a printer think ink is full?

If it doesnt see ink it will give you an empty ink cartridge message. The quick fix is to simply cover that sensor with a piece of black electrical tape. The printers sensor sees a solid color and reads 100% full ink!

The reason may be quite simple your cartridge is dry or clogged. Still, adding fresh ink may not resolve the situation.
