Go to Insert Header Footer. Excel displays the worksheet in Page Layout view. To add or edit a header or footer, select the left, center, or right header or footer text box at the top or the bottom of the worksheet page (under Header, or above Footer). Type the new header or footer text.
Click the [Page Layout] tab In the Page Setup group, click [Print Titles]. Under the [Sheet] tab, in the Rows to repeat at top field, click the spreadsheet icon. Click and select the row you wish to appear at the top of every page. Press the [Enter] key, then click [OK].
Insert a header or footer Go to Insert Header or Footer. Choose the header style you want to use. Add or change text for the header or footer. To eliminate a header--like deleting it on the title page--select it and then check the Different First Page box. Select Close Header and Footer or press Esc to exit.
Add background color to header or footer by Fill color Click Page Layout Page Setup. In the Page Setup dialog, under Margins tab, type 0 into Top, Header, Bottom and Footer textboxes. Click OK. Go ahead to select a color from Fill color list to add background color to the merged cells.
Adjust the Header and Footer Height Click the Page Layout tab. Click the Margins button. Select Custom Margins. Enter a new height for the header or footer. Click OK.
On the status bar, click the Page Layout View button. Select the header or footer text you want to change. On the Home tab in the Font group, set the formatting options that you want to apply to the header / footer. When youre done, click the Normal view button on the status bar.
Click anywhere in the table. On the Home tab on the ribbon, click the down arrow next to Table and select Toggle Header Row. Click the Table Design tab Style Options Header Row.
Follow these steps: Select the cell that has the formula you want to fill into adjacent cells.
