Keyboard shortcut: You can also press Ctrl+D to fill the formula down a cell in a column, or Ctrl+R to fill the formula to the right in a row.
2. Dragging the auto-fill handle Select the first cell in the column. Enter your formula in the function box at the top of the sheet. Move your cursor to the handle at the bottom of the cell. Click and drag the handle across the entire column.
You can also press Ctrl+D to fill the formula down in a column. First select the cell that has the formula you want to fill, then select the cells underneath it, and then press Ctrl+D.
