Check the calculation setting in the Calculation section of the Formulas ribbon. Make sure that the Calculation Options are set to Automatic--not Manual. You can also click on Calculate Now in the same section to tell Excel that you want the formulas to calculate. Reply if you have additional questions or information.
Check if Scroll Lock is On: Sometimes, the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard might be turned on. Press the Scroll Lock key to toggle it on or off. The Scroll Lock key is usually located in the top row of your keyboard.
By default, AutoFill is enabled in Excel. However, it is possible that the Autofill settings have been changed. To check the Autofill settings, go to File Options Advanced and scroll down to the Editing options section. Make sure that the Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop option is selected.
Double-Click Fill Handle Select the cell containing the formula and double-click on the fill handle. The formula will be copied down to the last row.
You can also press Ctrl+D to fill the formula down in a column. First select the cell that has the formula you want to fill, then select the cells underneath it, and then press Ctrl+D. You can also press Ctrl+R to fill the formula to the right in a row.
Keyboard shortcut: You can also press Ctrl+D to fill the formula down a cell in a column, or Ctrl+R to fill the formula to the right in a row.
When Excel formulas are not updating automatically, most likely its because the Calculation setting has been changed to Manual instead of Automatic. To fix this, just set the Calculation option to Automatic again.
