Welcome back and all new tonight. At 1118, local rescue organizations came together this evening to help find new homes for animals in need. The spring them home adoption event wrapped up at the mckinley mall. A few hours ago, attendees were able to meet a host of cats and dogs in hopes of finding them new homes. I would say that sometimes you dont know that you need an animal in your life and you wont know until you meet that animal. So this is a perfect opportunity to come here and, and see all these animals and you know, maybe come home with a best friend that you never expected you would have for the rest of your life. Says Western New York has seen an influx of pets being surrendered to shelters and rescues and that these adoption events do help save their lives.
