You may have a need to do this if you have your user fill out the name at the top of the form, and then you want to have that name filled in in other places in the document. So, in this form, weamp;#39;ve created a document that has Legacy tool form fields, and I have a plain text form field for the user to fill in their name at the top of the form. The tag names of elements in an XML DOM tree are returned in the same case in which theyre written in the original XML file. If an XML document includes a tag , then the tagName propertys value is SomeTag .

XML has three types of tags: opening tags, closing tags, and empty tags. XML tag names are enclosed in angle brackets and are case sensitive. Items in an XML-compliant document or data set are always enclosed in paired opening and closing tags, and the tags must be properly nested.
