Bondo has a wide range of fillers that can be used for almost any repair application. Whether youre fixing dents, removing rust, or patching holes, our fillers can provide an effective solution.
Fill dents and tiny holes with lightweight spackle using your finger or a putty knife. Make sure the spackle completely fills the dent or hole and is level with the rest of the undamaged wall. Allow the spackle to dry for 15 to 30 minutes or the time recommended by the manufacturer.
I recommend using plasterboard mesh tape, which is the simplest way to cover a large area. Read this post about how to use mesh tape in repairs. This is my go-to tape. If the holes are very deep, you can use expanding foam to fill the gap before smoothing it over the top with a flexible filler.
How About Dents? Simply apply joint compound with a putty knife over the dent so that the mud is filling in the dent and is flush with the wall. Sand lightly when dry.
Methods for How to Fix Dents in Wood Place a wet cloth over the dented area. Use a clothes iron on a medium setting and gently press over the cloth for several seconds. The steam will cause the wood fibers to swell and fill the dent. This method is particularly effective for removing dents from wooden floors.

There are several different types of drywall joint compound, but for this kind of repair, the best choice is a small container of premixed all-purpose joint compound. This is a much easier product to use than a powdered compound that requires mixing with water.
