alrighty this is going to be a quick tutorial on how to do the like a table of contents where itamp;#39;s right aligned that the page numbers are right-aligned and thereamp;#39;s dots going from the labels out to the page numbers so thatamp;#39;s called a dot leader and itamp;#39;s itamp;#39;s created using what are called tab stops so create a an empty document here and Iamp;#39;ll add some sections so Iamp;#39;m going to have my title page my introduction we have a body paragraph another body paragraph another body paragraph conclusion and references will say so Iamp;#39;ve already typed all this up and Iamp;#39;m going to add page numbers so my title is page 1 introduction page 2 3 4 5 6 7 I add the two spaces just to make it look nice you donamp;#39;t have to do that but up here in the ruler if you click youamp;#39;ll see that this line that appears and then thereamp;#39;s a little L bracket shape in on the ruler and this is this is a tab stop so the l-shape means itam

Put your cursor where you want to add the table of contents. Go to References Table of Contents. and choose an automatic style. If you make changes to your document that affect the table of contents, update the table of contents by right-clicking the table of contents and choosing Update Field.
Once youve applied heading styles, you can insert your table of contents in just a few clicks. Navigate to the References tab on the Ribbon, then click the Table of Contents command. Select a built-in table from the menu that appears, and the table of contents will appear in your document.
Set the entire table as a cell block and then click Insert Fill Table AutoFill. The empty cells beginning from the third cell, are automatically filled with a sequence of numbers ranging from 3 to 25.
