today im going to show you a simple technique on how to fill the area under xy chart and between the xy chart series so lets get started [Music] first from this table i will create a basic x y chart select the entire table go to insert tab and click recommended chart option from the new window select the xy scatter chart and hit ok next i will create an overlapped y chart with same coordinate values but with edges to create such enclosed chart type we need to extend the x and y coordinate values from both side of the chart so lets create a new populated x and y coordinate table for the overlapped chart for this i have added two columns called x1 and y1 first coordinate value to be started from the origin hence the value will be zero for both x and y values next i will use the same coordinate values from the original x-axis column the second extended x-axis will be equal to the third value and the y-value will be 0. hence it will create the vertical edge of the chart and i will use
