How do I recover files from a RAW SD card? Connect the RAW SD card to your PC. Download, , and launch MiniTool Power Data Recovery. Select the RAW SD card and click Scan. Preview and check all needed files, then store them to a safe location.

RAW is a format that an SD card acquires when, for various reasons, its file system is damaged. A RAW SD card, unfortunately, becomes unreadable by any operating system. RAW, here, means raw material; that is, in order to, say, return to NTFS format on FAT32 SD card, you need to do something with it.
A card that hasnt been graded and slabbed by a third-party service like PSA or BGS. When you buy a pack of Topps baseball cards, you are buying raw cards. If you send those raw cards to a grading service, they will become graded cards.
The only way to convert an SD card from RAW to the system is by formatting it. However, remember that formatting the SD card will delete all the data. To avoid this, recover your data first with a recovery tool before formatting the SD card.
