So lets take a look at what Google says about this feature. Were launching SmartFill for Google Sheets, which detects and learns patterns between columns to intelligently are to complete data entry. This sounds a lot like Excels FlashFill. It tries to find a pattern and he tries to apply that pattern to the column you want to fill. I prepared some examples for you. Click References Insert Caption. To use the default label (Figure), type your caption in the Caption box.
Captions should be concise but comprehensive. They should describe the data shown, draw attention to important features contained within the figure, and may sometimes also include interpretations of the data. Figures are typically read from the bottom up, so captions go below the figure and are left-justified.
Add captions Select the object (table, equation, figure, or another object) that you want to add a caption to. On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption.
On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Text Box. Click in the worksheet, and then drag to draw the text box the size that you want. To add text to a text box, click inside the text box, and then type or paste text. Notes: To format text in the text box, use the formatting options in the Font group on the Home tab.
Add a chart title manually Click anywhere in the chart to which you want to add a title. On the Layout tab, in the Labels group, click Chart Title. Click Centered Overlay Title or Above Chart. In the Chart Title text box that appears in the chart, type the text that you want.
Add data labels Click the chart, and then click the Chart Design tab. Click Add Chart Element and select Data Labels, and then select a location for the data label option. Note: The options will differ depending on your chart type. If you want to show your data label inside a text bubble shape, click Data Callout.
Add a Figure Caption Select an image. Click the References tab. Click the Insert Caption button. Enter a caption for the figure. Click OK.
Add a Caption With the In Line Text Feature Select an image from your Google Docs document. Tap the three-dot button. Scroll down and select Image Options. Set the Text wrap feature to In Line. Hit your virtual keyboards Return key to move underneath the picture. Type your caption.
