this is what you need to configure based authentication in asp.net core youamp;#39;re going to add authorization and authentication services and then you can call the ad JWT Bearer method which is going to enable Json web authentication and then you need to configure your Json web options my preferred approach is doing this through application settings and Iamp;#39;m going to define a configuration section called authentication and then bind that to the JWT Bearer options class

In authentication, the user or computer has to prove its identity to the server or client. Usually, authentication by a server entails the use of a user name and password. Other ways to authenticate can be through cards, retina scans, voice recognition, and fingerprints.
Authentication is knowing the identity of the user. For example, Alice logs in with her username and password, and the server uses the password to authenticate Alice. Authorization is deciding whether a user is allowed to perform an action. For example, Alice has permission to get a resource but not create a resource.
Briefly, forms authentication in ASP.NET works like this: The client requests a resource that requires authentication. If the user is not authenticated, the server returns HTTP 302 (Found) and redirects to a login page. The user enters credentials and submits the form.
In simple terms, authentication is the process of verifying who a user is, while authorization is the process of verifying what they have access to. Comparing these processes to a real-world example, when you go through security in an airport, you show your ID to authenticate your identity.
With form-based authentication, the following things occur: A client requests access to a protected resource. If the client is unauthenticated, the server redirects the client to a login page. The client submits the login form to the server. If the login succeeds, the server redirects the client to the resource.
The user authentication is identified with username, password, face recognition, retina scan, fingerprints, etc. The user authorization is carried out through the access rights to resources by using roles that have been pre-defined.
Authentication and authorization both rely on identity. As you cannot authorize a user or service before identifying them, authentication always comes before authorization.
