This lesson covers adding and editing metadata to your document, which is simply information about your document and its creator. You can access and edit this metadata by clicking on the file tab in the ribbon, opening the backstage view, and clicking on the info button. In the properties section on the right side of the page, you can view and edit a list of information about your document. Some fields like size, pages, words, total editing time, and template are not editable as they describe the content of the document. You can add, edit, or remove other information by clicking to the right of a title to bring up a text box. Clicking the show all properties link will display the full list of properties for your document.
