Hi. My name is Dan Schwarz, an Applications Engineer at Keysight Technologies. In this video a simple ADS design example will be presented, a design that works well in a circuit simulation. But, as with any real, fabricated circuit, substrate layout coupling or parasitics may induce unwanted effects such as oscillation. You will learn how to predict and ultimately eliminate layout induced oscillation using EM analysis. EZW combines stepwise thresholding and progressive quantization, focusing on the more efficient way to encode the image coefficients, in order to minimize the compression ratio. Two variants SPIHT and STW (see the following table) are refined versions of the seminal EZW algorithm.
wcompress(c, x , cname , compmthd ) compresses the image x using the compression method compmthd and saves the result in the file cname . The image x can be either a 2-D array containing an indexed image or a 3-D array of uint8 containing a truecolor image.
