Today, Im going to cover how Google Docs is different than Google Drive, plus Im sharing the best Google Docs features 2022. Are you ready, then lets go! So first things first, Google Drive and Google Docs often get confused, but as I said very confusingly at the top, they are not the same thing. Think of Google Drive as your storage unit. And your storage unit contains all kinds of files. These files can be sheets, slides, forms, photos, and more. And you can organize all these files how you see fit within Google Drive. Select the text you want to modify. Click the Text color command from the toolbar. A drop-down menu of text colors appears. Select the circle of the text color you want to use.
To view where section breaks are located in a document, use the new show section breaks tool by going to View Show section breaks. When Show selection breaks is enabled, youll see a blue dotted line where each section break is located.
On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. Select the paragraph you want to change. Click Format Paragraph styles Borders and shading. In the window that opens, change how you want your paragraph to look. To remove paragraph borders or color, click Reset. When you are done, click Apply.
Highlight the text on your text box and click Drop Shadow under Format Options. Your text will then sport a shadow text effect. Make adjustments to its transparency, angle, distance, and blur radius.
If youve made a grammar mistake, a squiggly blue line will appear under the phrase as you write it. You can choose to accept the suggestion by right-clicking it.
Add a drop shadow It allows you to add a shadow to your image. To use the drop shadow tool, click the Format options button and tick the Drop shadow option. Expand the drop shadow section to customise your shadow further. You can choose the colour, transparency, angle, distance and blur radius of the shadow.
If you dont see the ruler, you can display it by clicking View in the menu bar and then selecting Show Ruler from the drop-down menu. You can show the ruler by selecting it in the drop-down menu. To the left of the ruler, youll see a blue line with a blue triangle underneath.
You can add shading to a text box to add some color behind the text. Select an object. Click the Fill color button on the toolbar. You can choose a color or theme color, just like choosing a border color, but you also have the option to select a color gradient. Select a fill color.
