[Music] this is nick with logosbynick.com and in this tutorial ill be demonstrating how you can apply a texture overlay to an object or a grouping of objects using affinity designer so ill get started here in affinity designer as you can see i have this example logo design on my canvas here and if i click on this youll see this is made up of a bunch of individual parts as indepe as indicated in the layers menu over here i want to apply the texture to this entire design so i want to group it together first so im going to click and drag over all of it and come up here to where it says layer and go to group and now it is all grouped together on one layer like that now if you want to apply your texture to just a single object then you can go ahead and skip that last step because you already have a single layer right there so now what i want to do is import my texture image im going to come up here to where it says file and go to place and im going to choose a texture image to import
