[Music] all right todays tutorial how to get some tasty tasty textures going from a design like this thats clean but uh i dont know to retro goodness so we exported our design that we made in illustrator as a png at 1600 pixels by 1600 pixels and were just going to open that png in photoshop and the first thing im going to do is go to filter stylize diffuse and im going to click on dark and only and you can see that it adds these kind of like real grainy sides to all of the dark elements in your design so im gonna click ok then im gonna go to filter noise dust and scratches and you can kind of mess around with the radius of pixels but i like to do two and it just softens those harder edges that we just saw you can see that its softening all of the you know sharp fonts and all of those little rough edges that we added in previously click okay and then last but not least go to filter noise add noise and this is where it gets really gritty and tasty the amount that i like to add
