this study used a unique device called the Porta press itamp;#39;s a fantastic engineered device which allows us to put a blood pressure cuff on your finger and measure your blood pressure with every heartbeat this was the first time that weamp;#39;ve measured blood pressure for full 24 hours after spaceflight under a variety of different normal daily life activities so the two things that weamp;#39;ve been proposing for many years do enough exercise to preserve the heartamp;#39;s muscle volume load them when they come back down turned out nobody think itamp;#39;s very compelling evidence that this is a very powerful way to reduce the frequency of Bertha static hypotension and fainting I think it reflects a an important milestone in spaceflight research not so much because of the research that we did but because it emphasizes really the next step in I think human exploration

Fainter planetary rings can form as a result of meteoroid impacts with moons orbiting around the planet or, in the case of Saturns E-ring, the ejecta of cryovolcanic material.
In the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission, there was an agonising 6-minute blackout on its emergency return to Earth. Blackouts still happen today: astronauts leaving the International Space Station on SpaceXs Crew Dragon capsule can lose communications for up to 7 minutes.
Conversely, astronauts returning to earth often experience dizziness when standing up, known as orthostatic hypotension. This occurs because gravity on the earth is stronger than in space, and it is more difficult to deliver blood from the heart to the head.
On return to Earth, gravity once again pulls the blood and fluids into the abdomen and legs. The loss of blood volume, combined with atrophy of the heart and blood vessels that can occur in space, reduces the ability to regulate a drop in blood pressure that happens when we stand on Earth.
The lack of gravity astronauts encounter during spaceflight makes returning to the force of Earths gravity a little disorienting. And when they return to Earth, they faint. A new study published Friday in Circulation, the American Heart Associations journal, has identified a way to avoid that.
Because they have been conditioned to handle those G forces, astronauts do not usually pass out or lose their lunch during a launch, he stated. After all, NASA has been doing this for decades, he says.
When the astronauts return to Earth, low blood volume can cause orthostatic intolerance or dizziness when standing. Under the influence of the earths gravity, when a person is standing, blood and other body fluids are pulled towards the lower body, increasing pressure at the feet.
The effects of space exposure can result in ebullism, hypoxia, hypocapnia, and decompression sickness. In addition to these, there is also cellular mutation and destruction from high energy photons and sub-atomic particles that are present in the surroundings.
