Its possible. A faint line on a pregnancy test could mean that you have low levels of pregnancy hormones in your system, meaning you are pregnant but you may not be very far along yet . On the other hand, a faint colourless line could be whats known as an evaporation line, which is a negative result .
NO- shows on the Display Screen. This means no pregnancy hormone (hCG) was detected in your urine at this time. CAUTION: Although you may not be pregnant, it could also be too early to tell. For instance, your urine may not have enough of the pregnancy hormone to be detected, yet.
If you check your results within the recommended time frame and see a faint positive line, youre most likely pregnant. On the other hand, if you miss the window for checking the results and you dont check the test until 10 minutes later, a faint line may be an evaporation line, which means youre not pregnant.
HCG is normally only present in your body if you are pregnant. Any positive line, no matter how faint, means your result is pregnant. Levels of hCG in your body will increase over the course of your pregnancy. If you test early, your hCG levels may be still be low and youll see a faint positive line.
Instead, it could simply mean that theres not enough hCG yet for the test to detect. This is called a false negative result. The hCG level doubles approximately every 2 days so the chance of a false negative occurring decreases the longer you wait to test.
Its possible to get a negative result from a home pregnancy test when you are pregnant. This is known as a false-negative. You might get a false-negative if you: Take the test too early.
While digital pregnancy tests provide clear words Pregnant or Not Pregnant Clearblue visual tests use lines to display the results. If you see a positive line (no matter how faint!) in addition to the control line, youre pregnant.
A faint line on a pregnancy test probably means that its very early in your pregnancy. Even a faint positive pregnancy test indicates that you have some of the pregnancy hormone human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) in your system. Your body starts producing hCG right after implantation.
