The Show/Hide button turns hidden characters like spaces, paragraph markers, or tab marks on and off. Go to File Options Display. button is turned on or off. Clear any check boxes for ones you dont want always displayed.
When you dont want comments to be visible, you can hide them, and you can print a document with or without comments. When multiple people are working on a document, each persons comments appear in a unique color and include their author name.
Step 1: Open the Pages app. Then either create a new document or tap on any existing one. Step 3: Now, within the document, youll see a small words box at the bottom of your page. To show characters, simply click on the words box.
You can add comments to text, objects, and table cells. Comments are indicated by a square marker in the left margin of the document or next to the object (text is also highlighted). In table cells, a triangle appears in the corner.
Show invisibles: Choose View Show Invisibles (from the View menu at the top of your screen). Note: The View button in the toolbar doesnt have this command. Hide invisibles: Choose View Hide Invisibles.
The main control for display of non-printing characters is in Word Preferences - View. Make sure the box is checked for All with no checks in any of the other Show Non-Printing Characters boxes.
Mask (crop) a photo You can hide unwanted portions of an image without modifying the image file. Double-click the image. The mask controls appear. The default mask is the same size as your image.
Enter special characters and symbols Click in the text where you want to place the character, then choose Edit Emoji Symbols (or press Control-Command-Space bar). The Character Viewer appears where you clicked. You can drag it to the desktop if you want to keep it open as you work.
