many people shared with me uh a photo of the week which I just got a kick out of and so this is the youamp;#39;re doing it wrong in a simple picture and so this shows a password field which is highlighted in red because the system is not happy and itamp;#39;s saying password is used by another user oh so thick count the number of things that must be wrong with a system that is able to tell you that now itamp;#39;s true that it could be checking the hash and we know that hash collisions are for reasonable sized passwords are going to be very rare but why would a system check the hash so what itamp;#39;s clearly doing is is looking looking up a ray users record with the password as the index and it finds an existing one and says oh you know sorry we canamp;#39;t have two users cannot use the same password because then our index will return to records and we canamp;#39;t have that happen so I mean itamp;#39;s just this is mind-blowing that that somebody could say oh sorry that pass
