hello and welcome to two minute design im daij and today were gonna learn how to create an outline around a person in photoshop [Music] ive opened this image in photoshop this is me trying to show you how to ride the bike like a pro but failing miserably and lets create a selection around me you can use the pen tool if you want to create accurate selections but most of the time you can simply use the quick selection tool activate it and up here in the options bar make sure the button with the plus sign is selected and then simply click and drag over the subject to create a selection around it you can use the left and right square bracket keys to either decrease or increase the brush size you can also hold down the alt or option key and drag to remove parts of the selection when your selection is done go to select select and mask ill set the view to on black set the opacity to 100 percent and lets remove the unwanted selections make sure the brush is activated from here hold down
