Lay them down. Kneel by them. Raise their legs. Give them fresh air and monitor them.
Any positive line, no matter how faint, means your result is pregnant. Levels of hCG in your body will increase over the course of your pregnancy. If you test early, your hCG levels may be still be low and youll see a faint positive line.
If youre with someone who has fainted, try to keep calm. If you can, lay them on their back and raise their legs. If theyre pregnant (especially if theyre more than 28 weeks pregnant), its better to lay them on their side. Usually, the person who has fainted will wake up within 20 seconds.
A faint can be caused by tiredness, dehydration, severe pain, anxiety, low blood pressure, low blood sugar levels, heart attack or stroke. If you feel you are about to faint, lie on the ground with your legs raised until the feeling passes.
Invalid - If no line appears in the Result Window after 5 minutes, the result is invalid and you should repeat the test with another First Response Pregnancy Test, ensuring instructions are followed carefully. Place test strip in cup with urine for 10 seconds. In as little as 2 minutes.
In many cases, when you are using a First Response test, the test line may be a fainter pink than the control line, which is sometimes quite dark. A test line can be faint pink if your urine is diluted or its very early in your pregnancy.
If the result shows a pink test line that looks similar to the pink control line, then its likely a positive result. A positive result will run from the top of the test window to the bottom with the same thickness as the control line (even if its more faint).
If you feel faint, lie down and elevate your feet. This may prevent a loss of consciousness. Fresh air can also help, especially if you are feeling hot. If it is not possible to lie down, put your head down as low as possible.
The line may be light because the urine was diluted or its early in your pregnancy. If you wait more than 10 minutes to check your results, you may see a colorless or gray line in the window. This is an evaporation (evap) line that appears after your urine has dried on the stick.
So, in most cases, even a whisper of a faint second line on a pregnancy test means youre pregnant. (Hooray!) In rare circumstances, though, that may not be so, and the reasons behind the true results can vary. Heres what could cause a faint line on a pregnancy testand what you can do about it.
