[Music] good morning everyone its your girl nisha and today im back with another video so today we finally have our surgical rotation for our hospital rotations with anyway im super excited because ive literally been waiting so long for a surgical rotation our first one ended up being canceled because there werent any cases so today we have two cases today i have a dnc which is i believe a dilation and cuterage so basically for this procedure we dilate the service so that we are able to go in and cut some of the uterine lining to check for any abnormal cells and tissues so thats gonna be pretty exciting and then we also have a keloid excision so a keloid is basically excess tissue growth so say someone ended up getting like a piercing and it ended up being infected there would be extra tissue growing out of that piercing and with that extra growth we would just cut it out because its just like extra tissue being grown thats just like scar tissue overlapping because the piercing
