I mean, a lot of people say amp;quot;oh, you should never use JPEG for scientific imagesamp;quot; or something like that because itamp;#39;s totally lossy compression, youamp;#39;re going to lose those equality. And that is true but itamp;#39;s also not in a sense that youamp;#39;re applying its lossy compression over very very small image blocks.
