[1] Its as easy as: highlight the text you want inserted into your label. click the text you want inserted into your label (click on the button with the letter P on the toolbar to pull highlighted information into the label creation software) print the text you want inserted into your label.
The issue may be caused by the tape cassette or batteries. A non-genuine Brother tape cassette may not print properly or there may be damage to the tape cassette. Weak batteries can cause the label printer to print faint.
A label will not be printed if there is no text entered. Is the tape cassette installed correctly, and is there enough tape remaining? Check that the tape cassette is installed correctly, and that there is enough tape remaining. Is the end of the tape bent?
None of the Dymo LabelMakers use ink, they just use the self contained tape cartridges. If the print starts to fade this is almost always an indication that the batteries need replacing.
This issue can occur for a few reasons. The printer may be loaded with an unsupported label size or type, the printers sensor may be dirty, or there may be a problem with the DYMO drivers. Make sure you are using a supported label size.
If there are extra borders, your design may be shrunk printed in smaller size resulting in faded content. You can set your Density and Speed in Printer Preferences.
All text, settings, and stored files are deleted. Turn off your label printer. Hold down Shift and the letter R key. While holding down the keys, press the Power key once to turn on your label printer. Release the keys.
Dead/Weak Battery If your label maker wont turn on, you should make sure the batteries are not dead or about to run out. Replace the old batteries with six new AAA batteries. Make sure you replace them properly using this Battery Replacement Guide. Check the upper battery terminals.
