Just follow these steps: Click and drag your cursor to select the highlighted text. Go to the Home tab at the top of the screen. Look for the Font group and click the arrow next to the Text Highlight Color button. Pick the No Color option in the drop-down menu. The gray highlight will be gone!
Delete an index entry and update the index Select the entire index entry field, including the braces ({}), and then press DELETE. If you dont see the XE fields, go to Home Show/Hide . To update the index, click the index, and then press F9. Or go to References Update Index.
3 Answers Click the design tab. Page borders. Click the borders tab. Change the color, weight. Set apply to to paragraph. Click the bottom border icon. Click OK.
Step 3: In the context menu, click on the Font option to access font settings. Step 4: In the font window, click on the Text Effect option at the bottom. Step 5: Now, expand Text Outline in the Format Text Effects window. Step 6: Click on Solid Fill and, to prevent faded header text, choose the Black color.
Select the text that you want to change. On the Home tab, in the Font group, choose the arrow next to Font Color, and then select a color. You can also use the formatting options on the Mini toolbar to quickly format text.
The Solution: I concluded it had to be a setting or something I was missing and there it was in the View tab. Somehow the view changed its own Switch Mode settings to View with a Light Page Color (I presume after an app update).
Place your text box, as normal. Right-click on the text box. Choose Format Shape from the Context menu. Click the Fill and Line icon (it looks like a spilling paint bucket). Click on the Fill option to expand it. Use the Transparency slider to adjust how transparent you want the Text Box to be.
The header serves as an excellent space to include consistent information throughout your document. By default, it is subtly faded, offering a purposeful way to de-emphasize focus.
