Okay I just want to show you how we deal with these N/A errors that we love to see when were filling down a formula. Here were using the index-match formula that we used in my previous video. If you havent seen that, go check it. So all you do is just after the equals in your formula, you add IFERROR, and then open brackets, and then at the very end of your formula that youve already done, put a comma and then open and close quote marks, and then close bracket. And just press Enter, and the cell will come up blank instead of the #N/A error. And then just fill down now. You can put anything in between those open and close quotes - lets say you want to add TBC instead of the blank cell, and it will become TBC. Hope that helps, thank you.

On the home tab, in the Styles subgroup, click on Conditional FormattingNew Rule. Now select Use a formula to determine which cells to format option, and in the box type the formula: D35; then select Format button to select green as the fill color.

Change Row Color Based on a Cell Value Select the rows to be included. Click Format Conditional formatting. Set the Format rule to Custom formula is Enter the custom formula: =$Column and FirstRow=Value. Choose the conditional row color. Click done and see your results.
Apply an If-Then rule to all cells by pressing Ctrl-A before assigning your rule. If you copy values from colored cells and paste them into new it new cells, the new cells acquire the color of the copied cell.
