The Z flag when combined with four number flags (The leading two denoting hours, the trailing two denoting minutes) indicates Z Time (also called Zulu Time), a military and maritime term for Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)+0 (also known as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)) expressed on a 24 hour clock.
The Negative Status Flag is a processor status flag, which indicates that the result of an operation, when read as a binary number with twos complement sign, represents a negative number. If this flag is cleared, the result was either positive or zero.
Zero flag will be 1 if the last result from last instruction is same 0 decimal or 0000 in binary, if the result not a zero so the zero flag still have 0 state (value).
If flag is 0, this means that it has not been set, if it is 1 - it is set. For example, if you do arithmetic calculations and the result is 0, your Zero flag would be 1, since the result = 0. If it was any other number, the flag would be 0.
The flow of a program is often controlled using one or more flags, which are binary values (i.e., yes/no, on/off, true/false) that indicate the current or desired state of the system.
ZF - Zero Flag is set when the result of an operation is zero. If the operand is any non-zero value then ZF is 0. AF - Auxiliary carry Flag is used only with binary coded decimal (BCD) arithmetic. PF - Parity Flag is used to check if the number of set bits in a byte is even or odd.
Along with a carry flag, a sign flag and an overflow flag, the zero flag is used to check the result of an arithmetic operation, including bitwise logical instructions. It is set to 1, or true, if an arithmetic result is zero, and reset otherwise.
Parity flag indicates whether the lowest order byte of the result an arithmetic or bit wise operation has an even or odd number of 1s. Flag = 1 if parity is even; Flag = 0 if parity is odd.
