Marvel has some really beautiful shots, with some amazing visual effects. Im a fan of both DC and Marvel, but I can safely say that Marvels CGI is leagues better than anything Ive seen from DC movies, which is why its so disappointing when Marvels puts out movies with awful CGI. Im not a CGI expert or anything. Im not even sure how CGI works most of the time, but I do have eyes. And I can see that so much of the CGI in Phase 3 and Phase 4 Marvel movies are either really lacklustre or just painfully obvious CGI. Which makes me wonder why these are movies getting nominated for Oscars, and why theyre being praised for using unnecessary blue screens. Marvels CGI has declined, and I think its something that should be criticized, not praised. One of the major reasons Marvels CGI looks so poor is because there is so much of it.
