Below are some common questions from our customers that may provide you with the answer you're looking for. If you can't find an answer to your question, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Vasovagal syncope (vay-zoh-VAY-gul SING-kuh-pee) occurs when you faint because your body overreacts to certain triggers, such as the sight of blood or extreme emotional distress. It may also be called neurocardiogenic syncope. The vasovagal syncope trigger causes your heart rate and blood pressure to drop suddenly.
After the episode, symptoms may continue because of continued low blood pressure. Some people feel extremely tired afterward. In some cases, particularly in older people, the person may not remember having experienced any warning symptoms after they recover.
After an episode of vasovagal syncope, many people will feel nauseous, dizzy, and very tired for a few hours. These symptoms can last for a day or longer. You are at risk of fainting again until these symptoms go away.
You might not feel normal for a little while after you faint. You might feel depressed or fatigued for a short time. Some people even feel nauseous and may vomit. Some people have only 1 or 2 episodes of vasovagal syncope in their life.
When coming round after a faint, the person often feels awful, sickly and may vomit, or even have diarrhoea. Often there is prolonged fatigue after a faint.
You can usually get relief by lying down with your legs raised (elevated). This helps more blood to flow to your brain and may help relieve symptoms like feeling dizzy. Some doctors may recommend a technique that involves tensing your fists and arms. This type of fainting is often easy to predict.
Sometimes its easy to say whether the pregnancy test is positive or not, but sometimes this other line can be very faint. If you see a positive line , even if its faint, the simple answer is: Yes, you are almost certainly pregnant.
Carotid Sinus Syncope, a response in older adults that occurs when pressure is applied to the carotid artery in the neck. A hard twist of the neck, wearing a tight collar and pressing on the artery are triggers for carotid sinus syncope.
