Open your original image file in Photoshop, and select Image Image Size in the top menu bar. Resize it: Start with a minor resize in the width and height. Photoshop will use AI to make smart guesses about pixel information, automatically filling in extra pixels that match their surroundings.
The best way to get high-resolution images is by using the right camera for the job. But when thats not an option or youre looking to improve older digital photos docHub Photoshop and docHub Photoshop Lightroom can help. Experiment with Super Resolution and resampling to see how far you can push your image quality.
Start by opening your JPEG file in Photoshop, then navigate to the Filter menu and select Camera Raw Filter. Once in Camera Raw, right-click on the image and choose Enhance. This will bring up the Super Resolution option.
How do you fix bad picture quality? Open your picture in Photoshop. Select Filter and Blur. Pick Gaussian Blur as your next option, and use the slide to find the right range. Select OK. Find the Filter and Sharpen option. Select Unsharp. Use the slide until the image is as desired. Select OK.
Heres how to apply Smart Sharpen: Open your photo. In the Layers panel, click an image layer or the Background, then press Ctrl-J (Windows) or Cmd-J (Mac) to duplicate it. Choose Filter Sharpen Smart Sharpen. From the Preset menu, choose Default. Lower the Reduce Noise slider to view the full sharpening effect.
Here are a few tips to try to get better-quality photos before and after you edit: Focus correctly to unblur images. Use a wide-angle lens to avoid blurry images. Use a larger aperture setting to unblur photos. Use a tripod to deblur photos. Use the Deblur tool from PhotoDirector.
Select the desired layer, then click the Opacity drop-down arrow at the top of the Layers panel. Click and drag the slider to adjust the opacity. Youll see the layer opacity change in the document window as you move the slider. If you set the opacity to 0%, the layer will become completely transparent, or invisible.
Using the Gradient tool, draw a line across your image mask layer. This will result in a gradual fade across the line you have drawn. Expand it: You can experiment further with the tool by adding another photo beneath your main image layer to fade two images together, or try changing the colors for color fade effects.
