In a doc where you are a contributor or a commenter, click on the Comment button and adjust the filter to see comments involving you, open comments, resolved comments, or all comments. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. Select the paragraph you want to change. Click Format Paragraph styles Borders and shading. In the window that opens, change how you want your paragraph to look. To remove paragraph borders or color, click Reset. When you are done, click Apply.
Resolve comments: Click on any given comment and you can click the resolve button. This will hide it from the main page view, so you can move on to the next comment.
You can switch the document to viewing mode. You can uncheck Show comments in the View menu. You can hide a comment by marking the X button at the top of the comment.
Adding a Background to Text Boxes in Google Docs Choose your textbox and choose the Fill Color option highlighted in the toolbar. This is the tipping paint can icon. From the drop-down menu, choose the color you want for your text box background. Click Save and Close.
All you need to do is start typing. As you type, suggestions will appear as lighter gray text. Press either the tab key or the right arrow key to accept the suggestion. The suggested text will then become part of your document, and you can continue typing.
When it comes to Google Docs. Your document can have only 1.02 million characters. If its another text file that you convert to Google Docs, it can only be 50 MB in size.
Select the desired words using your mouse or keyboard by holding down shift and dragging/moving your cursor across the text you wish to highlight. Next, search the toolbar for a little pencil icon, next to the icons for bold and italic. When you hover over the pencil icon it should say Highlight color.
