Fainting of images is observer in a Plane mirror which has a flat reflective surface. When light rays strike a plane mirror, the angle of reflection equals the angle of incidence. It makes an image of objects in front of it; these images appear to be behind the plane in which the mirror lies.
Advantages of JPEG format. Already processed. JPEG images are fully processed in camera and all settings such as White Balance, Color Saturation, Tone Curve, Sharpening and Color Space are already baked in, or applied to the image.
JPEGs are designed to efficiently store high-quality digital photos packed with detail and color. They compress large images into much smaller file sizes, making them easier to share and upload online.
Unlike RAW images, JPEG images are compressed versions of RAW files. Think of a zip file, says photographer Nicole Morrison. Youre compressing a ton of information into a smaller package.
A JPEG file will give you at LEAST one full F-stop above and below proper exposure for correction purposes. For our use as outdoor photographers whose work appears in magazines, JPEG is actually more forgiving than the slide film we shot for years, which has essentially zero latitude.
For many the answer will be obvious. A JPEG is an 8-bit image file with its dynamic range already clipped by the camera and with any spare color information discarded. Compared to a raw file, theres very little processing headroom and images can very often start to break up under heavy manipulation.
As you might expect, the tradeoff for these detailed files is that RAW files are quite a bit larger than JPEG files. Still, most professional photographers shoot in RAW because it gives them more information to work with in the post-processing phase.
