this is a question that i think given our conversation so far sounds pretty serious my girlfriend has fainted twice in the past year both times while we were running she says itamp;#39;s low blood sugar do you think that it could be something heart related so as i said earlier passing out while youamp;#39;re actively participating in sports is a bad sign the way the question is phrased makes me think that they may have passed out when they stopped but if somebody is actively running and just running running running and boom hits the ground thatamp;#39;s a big problem that is usually an abnormal heart rhythm that caused that problem and that needs to be worked up immediately if it was passing out after uh theyamp;#39;re done running again that was kind of like when we talked about the marathon runner with keeping the legs pumping and then stopping but thereamp;#39;s other things that can cause you to pass out being dehydrated being having low blood sugar having a low salt level in

When coming round after a faint, the person often feels awful, sickly and may vomit, or even have diarrhoea. Often there is prolonged fatigue after a faint.
There are many causes of fainting, including: tiredness, dehydration, anaemia. low blood pressure caused by some medicines or health conditions. orthostatic (postural) hypotension where your blood pressure drops if you stand up too quickly.
You can experience dizziness and sweating at the same time due to hypoglycemia, heat exhaustion, and a heart attack, among other health conditions. If you experience severe or concerning symptoms, you may need emergency medical care. Dizziness is when you feel lightheaded, unsteady, or faint.
More often fainting does not necessarily need emergency care if a patient regains consciousness within a minute. But you can opt for emergency care if you are seeing any symptoms that can be life-threatening or you are already in some critical condition and fainted while in it.
Fainting usually isnt a sign of a serious health issue, but it can be. Talk to a healthcare provider if you faint and have any of the following symptoms: Blurry vision. Chest pain.
Check for a pulse and to see if the person is breathing. If the person is not breathing, begin CPR. Call 911 or your local emergency number. Continue CPR until help arrives or the person begins to breathe.
You may feel dizzy, faint or off balance if your heart isnt pumping enough blood to your brain. Causes include: Drop in blood pressure. A dramatic drop in your systolic blood pressure the higher number in your blood pressure reading may result in brief lightheadedness or a feeling of faintness.
Usually, a fainting episode will only last a few seconds, although it will make the person feel unwell and recovery may take several minutes. If a person doesnt recover quickly, always seek urgent medical attention.
