Click in the paragraph whose text direction you want to change. If you select multiple paragraphs, the text in all of them is formatted to match the first one you selected. In the Format sidebar on the right, click the Style button near the top. Click the Text Direction button to the right of the alignment buttons.
If you always want first-line indentation, modify the Normal style: Put the cursor anywhere in the paragraph. On the Home tab, right-click the Normal style, and choose Modify. Select Format, and then choose Paragraph. On the Indents and Spacing tab, under Indentation, select First line. Select OK. Select OK again.
Highlight the quote and select the Layout menu. On the Indent tab, change the left indent to 0.5.
To do this: Highlight the citations. Open the format menu by clicking [format paintbrush] on the right hand menu. Click on Layout in the menu. Under indents, change first to 0.00 and left 0.5. This should automatically reformat the text into a hanging indent or click the update button in the top right if it does not.
