In this screencast, we demonstrate how to convert form-based PDF contracts into structured data by creating a document parser that extracts key information from a standardized lease agreement. We begin by selecting ‘standardized contracts’ as the document type and uploading sample contracts to establish parsing rules. Next, we create a parsing rule to extract the signatory's name by drawing a square around the relevant area, which automatically adds a text manipulation filter to separate the first and family names. We then proceed to create a second parsing rule to extract the signatory's date of birth by selecting a date preset and marking the corresponding section in the document.
