In this screencast, we demonstrate how to convert form-based PDF contracts into structured data by creating a document parser for a standardized lease agreement. We begin by selecting 'standardized contracts' when prompted for the document type. After uploading sample contracts for reference, we proceed to establish parsing rules. The first rule extracts the signatory's name by drawing a square around the relevant area, which automatically adds a text manipulation filter to split the full name into first and family names. The second rule focuses on extracting the signatory's date of birth, using a date preset and a similar selection method for data extraction.
