In this tutorial, we demonstrate how to convert form-based PDF contracts into structured data by creating a document parser. We will extract key information, such as main dates and checkbox values, from a standardized lease agreement. Initially, we create a new document parser and select "standardized contracts" as the document type. After uploading sample contracts for reference, we establish parsing rules. The first rule extracts the signatory's name by drawing a selection box around the relevant data, and a text manipulation filter is added to differentiate first and last names. The second rule targets the signatory's date of birth using a predefined date selection.
