In this screencast, we demonstrate how to convert form-based PDF contracts into structured data by creating a document parser. We begin by selecting "standardized contracts" as the document type and upload sample contracts to establish parsing rules. After uploading, we create a parsing rule to extract the signatory's name by selecting the relevant data area and confirming the selection. A text manipulation filter is automatically added to separate the full name into first and last names. Additionally, we create a second parsing rule to extract the signatory's date of birth by selecting the date preset and marking the appropriate area in the document.
