Add dir=rtl to the html tag any time the overall document direction is right-to-left (RTL). This sets the default base direction for the whole document. All block elements in the document will inherit this setting unless the direction is explicitly overridden.
You can skip a line using the tag. This is useful because it gives the ability to enter line breaks. The tag is probably the most important tag to learn, especially if you dont understand the difference between an inline and block element. In order to skip a line, you need to use two in a row.
For now, the best way to get RTL content to display correctly when a LTR locale is being used is to wrap the content in tags. Doing this wont cause any trouble when support for mixed text direction is added.
The dir attribute specifies the text direction of the elements content. The dir attribute can have the following values: ltr - means left-to-right text direction. rtl - means right to left text direction.
You can remove this margin by setting the top and left margin to zero. Like the padding and border, the sizes of specific sides of the margin can be set using margin-left , margin-right , margin-top , and margin-bottom .
The direction CSS property sets the direction of text, table columns, and horizontal overflow. Use rtl for languages written from right to left (like Hebrew or Arabic), and ltr for those written from left to right (like English and most other languages).
The main difference between left-to-right (LTR) and right-to-left (RTL) language scripts is the direction in which content is displayed: LTR languages display content from left to right. RTL languages display content from right to left.
Using hidden. # The hidden attribute hides the element. Syntax. # More Examples. # Clicking the button toggles A hidden attribute on the element. Browser support. # Here is when hidden support started for each browser: You may also like. # Our HTML aside Tag Reference.
