there are some cool things that we can do with margins that you might not know about cuz if you wanted to do a justify content Center you know that centers everything if youamp;#39;re using flexbox horizontally of course uh but what if you wanted to do one of those elements like this third one here a justify self-center that would be great but with flexbox there is no justify self on likee with grid so what can we do well we can replace that with a margin left and right of Auto and look at that it is centered in the space available to it and as a fun little bonus here is I can actually turn off the margin right and just use that to push the element all all the way over and yes I can do that on the first one thatamp;#39;s there as and it will put all the margins on this first one leaving the other ones pushed all the way off to the side or I can remove the margin on the left and only put it on the right it will push all of the other ones all the way over and yes that does mean that if

The default styles of HTML elements like or are never the styles we want. The most common solution to this problem is to override the default styles, for example: . reset { padding: 0; margin: 0; background: none; border: none; // and so on }
The margin property sets or returns the margins of an element. This property can take from one to four values: One value, like: div {margin: 50px} - all four margins will be 50px. Two values, like: div {margin: 50px 10px} - the top and bottom margins will be 50px, left and right margins will be 10px.
The body element has a default 8px margin indicated by the bar on top.
Adjusting the Margin Size of an HTML Element With CSS You can remove this margin by setting the top and left margin to zero. Like the padding and border, the sizes of specific sides of the margin can be set using margin-left , margin-right , margin-top , and margin-bottom .
Try it! Select Layout Margins. Select Custom Margins. In Margins, use the Up and Down arrows to enter the values you want. Select OK when done.
You can use CSS to eliminate all margins from an HTML page. The element or a container element should be styled with the following: By removing margin and padding from the element, this CSS rule effectively removes any default spacing that may have been around the text.
You can replace p with the element that you want to remove the space between lines. This will set the line-height of all elements to 1, which will reduce the space between lines. You can adjust the value to suit your needs.
