Locate and select the file(s) you want to send. Right-click the file(s) and choose Send to Mail Recipient. In Email Files - SmartVault, select the Password protect and encrypt all PDF documents sent in this email checkbox and click Send. Enter a password for the file.
How to Send a Password-Protected Document Save the document you want to protect with a password. Select File. Select Info. Choose Protect Document. Select Encrypt with Password. Create a password and enter it in the password box. Enter the password a second time, then hit OK.
A: If you want to keep your email attachments secure, you can password protect them in Gmail. To password protect an attachment, you need to select the file you want to send, and then click More Options. After that, youll see an option that says Password Protect. Select that option and enter a password for it.
To use cloud service, upload the password-protected file to your chosen cloud service provider (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc). Once its there, click on the Share File button and add the recipients email address. Tip: Always ensure the spelling is accurate when sharing important documents through email!
Open the PDF document you would like to password protect, select the Tools tab, scroll down to find the Protect Standardize section, select Protect. 2. The Protect tool bar will appear, select the Encrypt button drop menu. Here you can either Encrypt with a Certificate or Encrypt with a Password.
Protect a document with a password Go to File Info Protect Document Encrypt with Password. Type a password, press OK, type it again and press OK to confirm it. Save the file to make sure the password takes effect.
Select File Info. Click on the Protect Document drop-down menu, and choose Encrypt with Password. Upload Your Document to Google Docs: Upload your password-protected Word document to Google Docs or Drive as you would with any other file. Encrypt Your PDF Document: Open your PDF document in Acrobat Pro.
How to send password-protected PDF files. Launch docHub and select the Protect tool from the Tools menu. Choose your protection settings. Once youve protected your file, save it as a separate copy for safekeeping. Select Share With Others from the top toolbar. Add the recipients email addresses.
