In DonorPerfect, exporting data to Excel allows users to pull information from the system efficiently. This process uses export templates, which let users select specific fields for export, streamlining repeated exports. Default templates include all fields displayed on a screen, while customized templates contain only user-selected fields. All export templates can be found under "Settings" > "Export Templates," where users can also create new ones. To create a new template, click the "Create New Template" button, name the template, and select a template type from a dropdown menu, which determines available fields. For example, choosing "Mail Merge" will display main address fields below.
