This video demonstrates how to apply conditional formatting in Google Sheets across an entire row using a check box. To do this, select the range of cells where you want to place the check box, go to Insert, then Check Box. Next, go to Format, Conditional Formatting, and select the Single Color tab. Enter the range for the formatting in A1 notation, and in the Format cells if drop-down, choose Custom formula is. In the value or formula box, enter either equals dollar Q2 or equals dollar Q2 equals true. Both will give the same result as Q2 is the column with the check box. Customize the formatting using the Formatting style box, click Done, then check the boxes to see if the formatting was applied correctly.
