Tip: You can also start the export process by right-clicking the object in the Navigation Pane and then clicking Export Access. Access opens the Export - Access Database dialog box. In the File name box on the Export - Access Database dialog box, specify the name of the destination database and then click OK.
Export data to a text file by saving it Go to File Save As. The Save As dialog box appears. In the Save as type box, choose the text file format for the worksheet. Browse to the location where you want to save the new text file, and then click Save.
To export data from Access, first select the table or other database object to export in the Navigation Pane. Then click the External Data tab in the Ribbon. Then click the button in the Export button group for the file format to which to export the object.
On the External Data tab, in the Export group, click Excel. Start off by opening up the list page that you want to export the rows from and select the rows that you want to export. Then right-mouse-click on the check marks beside the records. When the context menu is displayed, there will be two new options that show up. Export all rows and also Export marked rows.
Click the External data tab in the Ribbon. In the Export group, click Excel. The wizard opens. Enter a name for the file (if you enter the same name as an existing workbook in the destination, you will be prompted to replace it), and click on the Browse button to select a location for the file.
In Tableau Desktop, select the extract data source from the Data menu. Select Extract Compute Calculations Now.
