Initials are the capital letters which begin each word of a name. For example, if your full name is Michael Dennis Stocks, your initials will be M. D. S.
If the ID you present with the application supports the name you enter in the form and other details match (birth date, birthplace), the passport should be issued in the name you currently use. Answer: The suffix (or lack thereof) will not cause any issues with your application.

For an individual, the order of initials is the first name, last name, and middle name. The last name initial (center) is larger than those on either side.
Your surname is your family name. Its also called your last name. When filling out applications, type your surname as it appears on your passport, travel or identity document. Do not use initials.
It means that every page of the document must have your full initials at the bottom right or left hand corner. If the document lists you as Tom Jones, then put TJ. If the document lists you as Thomas John Jones then put TJJ at the bottom of every page, even the page where your signature appears.
No initials should be written and all initials (if any) in the applicants name should be expanded. For instance, for the name used above, writing the Given Name as P.K.JAIN or PIYUSH K JAIN is not correct. No honorifics, titles such as Major, Doctor etc should be written.
Use initials in a personal name only if the name is commonly written that way. See Wikipedia: Manual of Style/Biographies for when to use full names and other formats.
The passport is a federally issued identification document so be sure to use your full legal name. Middle names can be tricky when filling out your passport application, but dont let that be the one factor that holds you back. A middle initial is acceptable on your passport instead of providing the full middle name.
What employee initials mean? An initial is just like a representative of your name. This means a signature could be written to capture the full name of a person. On the other hand, initials are just a letter from name usually the first letter of a name.
