were going to be looking at how to log a call uh in salesforce and were going to actually start in the admin panel um so how we got here is we hit setup and we hit this or we hit this gear and then we hit the setup option thats going to take us to like our admin area and salesforce uh and what i want to do is first like locate um the log call action so youve probably seen log a call on various objects in salesforce and what were going to do is were going to first go to the account object and were going to go down to this tab here this is button links and actions now when i click on this you can see that these are you know a lot of the out of the box options that we have available and if i click new action i can actually use this pick list to say okay i want to create a logger call action type and from here im going to use a standard field label or if i want to i can just say you know log or call thats thats the way it would pop up or i can leave this as none right that means
