Editing and Removing Time-Off Requests Regardless of the status of your time-off request, you can always edit or remove the time.
From the Scheduler Click the pending request. Act on the request: Click Approve Request to approve. Click Cancel Request to deny the request.
When you click on the Approved button, a message is displayed indicating the date and time on which you approved the employees time card. In the event you approved a time card and realize you need to make one more edit. Click the down arrow and an option to Remove your Approval is displayed.
Note: You also have the option to click Edit to edit a request, click Refuse to deny the request, click Pending to delay your approval or refusal of the request, or click Retract to withdraw a request.
Click on Requests to view all current requests. To cancel, click the three dots to open the menu and select Cancel. Scroll down within the request to click Cancel once more to confirm.
The only valid reasons for canceling vacation time are for staffing emergencies that were unavoidable, or to meet a deadline or quota. While a lawsuit may not be applicable in these situations, it is important to understand the policies of the company youre working for.
1) From your Workday homepage, click on the Time Off and Leave worklet. 2) Click on the button labelled Correct My Time Off. 3) Navigate to the existing time off request that you want to delete or correct. Click on the request.
No approval is required. You can cancel leave of absence requests that have been submitted but not yet approved.
