[Music] to delete a time-off policy click on the admin tab followed by the time off sub-tab from there click into the policy you are wanting to delete if employees are added to this policy you will receive this notice from here you can choose whether to reassign your employees to another policy or not if you choose to reassign your employees you can choose from a drop-down of other policies previously made within eddie please note that the list that will come up will be only those listed in the same category as your current time-off policy you can then make adjustments to their balance move your employees over and delete the policy [Music]

Paid time off (PTO) is an employer-provided benefit where an employee is allotted an amount of time paid time which may be used for vacation, sick, or personal time at their discretion. Employers can either frontload an annual allotment of PTO or require employees to accrue PTO based on time worked.
Vacation Time. The essential difference between the two is that PTO covers any paid time away from work where the employee is not working; in contrast, vacation time refers to paid time off thats taken for the employee to take a break with or without their family.
The average vacation time is based on how many years an employee works for your small business. The average paid vacation days per year for employees who have been with a business for 1-5 years is 10 days. Employees who have been with a business for 5-10 years receive an average of 15 days for vacation.

What should you consider before developing your PTO policy? Require manager approval. Require a deadline for calling in sick. Determine a PTO policy for different employee types. Decide how much time off to provide each year. Decide whether or not employees can accrue time.
Under California law, earned vacation time is considered wages, and vacation time is earned, or vests, as labor is performed. For example, if an employee is entitled to two weeks (10 work days) of vacation per year, after six months of work he or she will have earned five days of vacation.
Navigate to the Time Off module on the left menu in Humi. Scroll down until you see the Requests section. In this section, youll see all the time-off requests youve made. To delete the Time Off request, click on the requested date.
